Mike, I whole heartily agree with that sentiment! Most ppl suck! Guido and I are doing good, Guido is 15 years old and finally showing her age and slowing down, no longer the puppy she was. I am doing fairly well, came down a few weeks ago with Positional Vertigo... when I lie down or get up from bed my head spins as if I was a on a fast Twister at the county fair. Other then that, I can bend over and move about with out a problem. Makes getting in and out of bed an interesting experience... Getting ready to move back into the mid West from Oregon. You really can't go back home. It is not the same and Oregon is getting more communist every week.
Wow, 15 years is a lot for a dog. As with most of us the manufacturer's warranty on that one expired a while ago. And that's the part that sucks about having pets. We have a 19 year old Siamese cat. Still going strong but she screeches something fierce at any time of the the day and night when she wants something. She grew up with dogs and still thinks she is one. Has all the habits of a dog. As to the vertigo thing, that's no fun. Its sucks when your body betrays you like that. I know you are quite medically savvy so I am sure you are trying to figure out a workaround. Have you tried sleeping with your head slightly more elevated? What ever you do just move slowly when transitioning from upright to laying down and getting back up. Give the gyroscope in your inner ear the chance to catch up with itself. Yea as geographically nice the People's Republik of Oregon is, it would not be a place I'd care to be. Maine is not much better and the despots at the state house in Augusta are constantly trying to put the screws to us every day. Desperately need to find a place where we can put some elbow room between the bad choices people make and myself.
Yea every now and then I run into a like minded traveler like that one. Gives us just a glimmer of hope. There's a few around, though here in the People's Republik of Maine, they are few and far between. I don't expect he shops at Dicks.
