A little bit of flying

On Saturday afternoon we went out for a test flight to check the Bonanza after the annual inspection.
So I finally got brave and decided to try out the video feature on my Lumix LX7.
Here are the results.
The take-off run
Left climb out to the WUDDE fix for a procedure turn in the hold.
WUDDE inbound on final and landing on RWY 22 at Auburn-Lewiston.

    1. Dina and Yael, Learning to fly was something I always wanted to do. I am sure it started when I was about 10 yrs old and our neighbor in Venezuela where I grew up would fly by at eye level with our hillside house in an earlier version of the Bonanza I now get to occasionally fly. I have been flying now for over 30 years and it is truly one of the most rewarding things I have ever done in so many levels. I always struggled in school but this was something I did for myself because I wanted to prove I could do it. It was not always easy but the rewards were juts enough to keep me moving forwards. When I started I never expected to go this far with it. I have been fortunate to get to play with this very modern and sophisticated piece of equipment belonging to my friend Clint who taught me to fly so many years ago.

  2. Wow, that's exciting stuff! Thanks for taking and sharing the videos.

My daughter learned to fly in college in San Jose State U. She took 3 of us up in a small plane, and it was a bit scary for me.
    Wishing you always friendly skies.

    1. Thanks for visiting Harry. If you didn't loose your medical yo can still fly LSA. Not all that affordable these days but if you build your own its a way to keep flying.
