Last few weeks have been mostly gray with a storm every three days,
When it did clear out we got 50 mph winds and the local layabouts came by to warm up at the soup kitchen .
Then on Saturday it snowed again
And some democrat voters came by wanting a handout, but the local rodents had eaten all their food
they formed a comity to complain about the lack of proper housing and food subsidies
Eventually on Saturday afternoon the snow stopped so we could get things cleaned up and I put out some seed for the local welfare dependents. That's when more colorful ones showed up.
Le voy a sugerir al morochito que te nombre director del welfare dept. Via mail te hago una sugerencia para bad weather birds housing
ReplyDeleteNo snow here, but we did have our first propper frost! -5 degrees. The bird feeders at ours have been like a fast food joint lately, I have to refill during the week as well as the weekend now!
ReplyDeleteHi Kev, I wind up putting about half a quart can of bird seed out per day. Between the squirrels and the birds a 25 pound sack only lasts about a month. They are desperate and in winter there is not much else for them to eat. Good thing I only buy the cheap generic stuff.
DeleteDon't look to our Governor for help. LOL Ya the weather has been crazy, and the birds hungry this month. I guess we should have know that Dec. weather wasn't going to last!

Hey Grammie G, the Governor is just fine by me. Its the moochers and gimee-gimee crowd up in Augusta and Portland I have an issue with. As for our December weather, I'd be fine if it had carried on right in to January, February and March... I figure since I keep getting blamed for all that confounded global warming I might as well get something out of it. I'll just keep feeding the local welfare dependents so long as they are the feathered kind.... LOL
DeleteEvery time I mention Paul LePage's name to one of my liberal friends in Maine, I want to follow it up with MUAHAHAHAHA! He's the greatest thing that's happened to Maine in quite some time. I wish they'd figure that out.
ReplyDeleteYes, I love how riled up the tax and spend libs get about him. Seems all that tolerance they preach goes right out the window when it comes to him. Wish we had a dozen more like him.
