Quasimodo Goes to The Ball

Last  Sunday Mike Mack , a local VCOAMAINE member hosted a gathering at his house about five miles from us, so of course despite the wet weather we could not miss the invite .
Quasimodo next to a pristine red P1800 and the three creme yellow 1995 855 T-5R's owned by the Mack family .
Photo blatantly pilfered from the club website . Yours truly top right on the back row .

    1. For a 56 year old car its holding up well.
Me on the other hand? . . . . well it might be a bit sketchy. . .

  2. Sos injusto...

  3. He is unquestionably the star of the show. I have always liked Volvo but they are just too rich for my blood.

    1. Yea the new ones are quite price and they are just Mazda chassis with European running gear. The old rear wheel drive 240 series and older are far more pedestrian. Dad was always into them. His first was a red and white PV544 that he bought in Holland in the late 50s and took to Caracas. Brought it to Maine in 1960 and traded it for a 122 that he took back to Caracas and I learned to drive in in the early 70s. After we moved back to the US he had a couple 240 wagons. About 20 yrs ago Dad bought and rebuilt Quasimodo in an attempt to relive his youth.
