. . . . . . . and some other stuff too.
Mike, ademas de buen hortelano eres un artista, esa primera naturaleza muerta está muy linda
Si, ahora solo me falta ponerme la boina de franchute bohemio y ponerme a pintar ja ja
i need to go out and do the dirty deed and pull up the garden. i almost did it yesterday but they promised us an 80% chance of rain. we got a few drops for 2 seconds and that was it. my tomatoes are crunchy.
Hi Jaz, my tomatoes, those that I got were OK this year but the ride was a bit of a roller-coaster. Not nearly as good as it should have been and most of the tomatoes were undersized, but it has been an odd year for planting. My acorn squash failed miserably. Only got three, and those were only three inches across. I noticed the ones at the supermarket were no bigger and they had very few of them, so it's probably not just me. My bell peppers also failed. Got one plant that never got any bigger than 16 inches tall and every time I water it it wilts. Must be hydrophobic or something. Did not see any bees at all this year, that in addition to a cold rainy spring may have played in to the bad harvest.
It's still mild here so things are still growing although I'm ready for the growing season to be over. I love that first picture. Perfect title for it.
Hey Kev, yes the photo seem staged but they lay in the bowl just as I plucked them from the plant. Sometimes even a blind dog finds a bone.
Very nice pictures. It must be a good feeling to grow some of your own vegetables.
Yes Yael, it is but this year has been a bad one. Hardly seems worth the trouble. Way to much fussing and work for little results.
