Local Sighting

A 1937 Chevy truck on a later model chassis and running gear with a small block Chevy V8 and a modified slide in camper box .

His transmission cooler had sprung a leak and he was bypassing it to make it home to Turner , about an hour up the road from us .

  1. Hey Mike! Definitely a cool ride! Too bad you didn't get more pictures, like the engine and maybe the inside. How are you doing lately? Keeping out of trouble? Kevin

  2. Hey Kevin: The fellow had his hands full trying to repair his transmission cooler leak so I offered help but did not want to get in his way. So I did not get any more photos than that one. Thought of you when I took the pix. Perfect one to add to your camper posts.
Over here we've barely had a chance to look sideways. Major medical issues with mom that all started with the dam clot shot a few years ago. Since late February we've had six ER visits, one four day ICU stay and a pacemaker install at the end of April. As it is we need to drive up to check on her nearly every day and that eats up four to twelve hours every time. At 88 yrs old the CPU not quite operating as it should either. Taking each day as it comes. Doing what I can.
