Fortunately the rate of fire on those is glacial at best so you have no choice but to pace yourself. A dozen rounds of those and its time for a snooze on the Lazy Boy. My single shot 1894 #9 Remington side lever is not much better. It just occurred to me that I paid twice as much for that brick of primers as I did for the #9 when I bought it forty odd years ago.
Only one brick. At $95 I tapped my mad money for the month. Should be enough to last me for a spell as all I'm playing with is break action singles and I'm only reloading 10 or 20 rounds at a time using the little LEE Loader hand tool.
I've got one of those muzzle loaders that use shotgun primers. I've been rationing them.
