  1. I was thinking along the lines of your wife unit looking at that and telling YOU will be doing the laundry... I am sure she was thrilled beyond your belief Mike.

  2. Almost seventy years ago my friend's father built him a small single seat tractor that was powered by a Maytag salvaged from a washing machine. I was too young to care how the power was transferred to the wheels, however movement was accomplished by pulling back on a lever attached to the side. That tensioned a belt and away it went. It was very slow but had good hill climbing ability. That tractor was my first driving experience.

    1. We saw this at the hit-n-mis engine display at the Livermore Falls/Bowman Field (Maine) fly-in last Saturday. Never got a good view of the far side but this thing appears to have a belt that can be tensioned by an idler pulley that is applied by the gear shift stick on the side of the machine. I can imagine it would not be too hard to adapt the the clutch mechanism to drive an axle on a vehicle.

    1. Eau-du-two-stroke.... it will wash the rice rabies out of your clothes and keep the libtards at bay too.
