Thursday among other tasks I finished installing the balusters and made up the opposite side hand rail.

and today I stained and applied the first sealer coat to the treads
not my choice but that's what the client wanted
everything but the treads gets white paint including the handrails.
Agree with you about the choice, too much contrast -but 'the reason always is on the client's side'... Anyway it looks gorgeous.

como decimos aqui: "the client is always right", over all I am pleased with the results, it has been a while since I got to build one like that and I really enjoy this kind of work, especially when it is 17 Celsius bellow zero outside, I wish I got this kind of work more often..
